This creamy, herby sauce Alfredo pesto is the perfect blend of comfort and flavor. Easy to make and endlessly versatile.
Ingredients
2 tbsp butter 1 cup heavy cream 1 cup grated Parmesan 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1/2 cup basil pesto (homemade or jarred) Optional: red pepper flakes or lemon zest
Instructions
1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. 2. Add cream and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes. 3. Stir in grated Parmesan and mix until smooth. 4. Remove from heat and fold in pesto. 5. Taste and adjust seasoning. 6. Serve over hot pasta or grilled protein.
Notes
Start with 1/3 cup pesto and adjust to taste. Add pasta water if sauce becomes too thick. Store in the fridge for up to 4 days in a sealed container.
