Description
This easy duck sauce recipe is sweet, tangy, and perfect for dipping or glazing. Made with simple pantry ingredients in just 10 minutes.
Ingredients
1/2 cup apricot or peach preserves
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
2. Heat over medium-low, stirring frequently.
3. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
4. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
5. Transfer to a clean jar and refrigerate.
Notes
Use applesauce as a base if preserves aren’t available.
Adjust vinegar or sweetener to taste.
Keeps in fridge for up to 2 weeks.
